Matthew spent his younger years under the influence of his older siblings’ music collections…That, along with the magical times of the 70’s in coastal Los Angeles, helped shaped his musical mentality. However, his musical heart radiates with a sweet Southern, Rootsy and Bluesy vibe….

Having been in many cool bands over the years, he is always MOST excited about his current band!

Songwriting, arranging and performing keep him going.

Self-taught on the guitar, Matty goes to great efforts to produce a lovely tone. Usually plays live in the moment, meaning little of his improvising is planned out.

Matty’s outrageously inappropriate sense of humor and wonderful imagination keep the days interesting. A strong faith and a plethora of blessings keep him grounded.
